"Big Momma's House" I liked it the first time I saw it when it was called "The Nutty Professor."

Martin Lawrence is funny and Nia Long is very attractive and "BIG MOMMA's HOUSE" is average. If you have seen the trailer for this film than you have seen the film.

Sure there are some avery funny parts, but it is a one joke movie. Luckily it only lasts an hour and a half. Martin Lawrence has cemented himself as a very good comic actor, with his roles in "BLUE STREAK", "BAD BOYS" and now "BIG MOMMA's HOUSE" he also proves he can play cops and robbers.

Some people compare him to Eddie Murphy and with his resume' the way it is, that would be fair, except that Murphy has realized that he needs to grow and change the roles that he plays.

Nia Long who also recently starred in "BOILER ROOM" is going to hit it big very soon, she is very attractive and the best thing is that she is nopt one of those skinny little actresses who get lost if they turn sideways. She actually could pass as a normal person. She also has talent and is believable in any role she plays.

If you have nothing to do and just want to get away and laugh a bit then go see this movie. If you want to laugh a lot then go see "ROAD TRIP".
