"Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles"

By Ted Pfeifer

Now don't laugh at me, but I enjoyed the third chapter in the life of Crocodile Dundee.

You read correctly, I liked the movie. It is one of those films that when you take it at face value there is no way that you don't have a good time.

Paul Hogan reprises hhis role as the original crocodile hunter and winds up in Los Angeles as he follows his son and childs mother to the states for another batch of culture shock.

The thing that makes this movie a winner is that it is not afraid to poke fun at itself. Sure we saw Dundee and his trials and tribulations in New York, but as we all know New York is not the same as Los Angeles. They have a lot of fun with Dundee discovering the world of excess and amenities. And of course he just so happens to drive around L.A. in a Subaru Outback.

There is a side plot that has to do with some bad guys, but the fun in the movie is the fish out of water bits.

If you liked the other "Crocodile Dundee" films then this will hit you in the right spot.
