"Head
Over Heels"
This
is the perfect movie for the demographic. This movie was made
for female teens who liked films like "She's All That", "Bring
It On" and "Save the Last Dance".
Monica Potter stars as a young woman recently split from her
boyfriend alone in Manhattan. She just happens to be "Head
Over Heels" for Freddie Prinze Jr. Prinze plays a modeling
executive who just happens to be perfect in every way. Potter
is out on her own and needs a place to stay. She just happens
across an ad for a room in a beautiful downtown building.
Wouldn't you know it she now just happens to be the new room-mate
of four struggling supermodels. Her new apartment just happens
to overlook that of Prinze's. Now the fun starts, as Potter
is gazing into her future love's apartment she sees him kill
a woman, or so she thinks. As one thing piles upon another
suspicions and craziness occur. There are some funny scenes
that make you chuckle and a few that will make you laugh at
loud. Prinze and Potter share good chemistry and are not afraid
to go the extra mile for a laugh. In this movie things just
happen and you go along with them.
"Head Over Heels" plays like an episode of "Three's Company"
combined with "Rear Window", which is not a bad thing. The
movie has alot of fun with the stereotypes of supermodels
and the modeling industry as a whole. I don't want to give
away the ending but as you can probably guess, Prinze is not
really a killer. If you liked the films mentioned earlier
in this review than go see this film, if those are not your
cup of tea than skip it. "Head Over Heels" is not great, it's
not bad, it just happens to be FUN.
