"Little Nicky "
A "Little" Good.

By Ted Pfeifer

"Little Nicky" is a little good. It has a little laughs but not much more. Adam Sandler stars as the son of Satan who must go to Earth and bring his brothers back to hell to save his fathers life. If you have seen the trailer for this movie then you have seen how Sandler speaks throughout the film, it is very annoying and not very funny.

After very good comedies like "Happy Gilmore", "The Waterboy" and to some extent "Big Daddy" and "Billy Madison", "Little Nicky" comes in as Sandlers least funny and engaging movie. There are some very funny scenes but they don't last and there are not enough of them.

The cast is loaded with cameos from such people as Henry Winkler, Reese Witherspoon, John Lovitz, Dana Carvey, Kevin Nealon as well as supporting roles from Harvey Keitel and Patricia Arquette.

If you like Adam Sandler you think this is an ok movie, if you love Adam Sandler you may think it is good. But as they say, Hell would have to freeze over before anyone calls this a great movie.
