"Mission Impossible 2" Not so for Woo and Cruise.

By Ted Pfeifer

This movie is awesome. It delivers in every way. If any guy doesn't wish he was Tom Cruise after watching this movie than there is something wrong. Cruise is ultra cool. John Woo once again proves what an amazing director he is. He uses slow motion, music, action and silence to tell a story.

Many people had a problem with following the story of the first film but this one is pretty straight forward. And if by chance you do get lost, they tell you along the way what is going on. The music is great and visuals are wonderful.

I don't know if this is as good as Woo's "Face/Off" which starred Nicolas Cage and John Travolta, but it is better than most action films out there. Thandie Newton plays the love interest and will be a star after this. Ving Rhames as Cruise's sidekick was okay, but this is more of a James Bond type of flick where it is more about one agent than many.

The action sequences are elaborate and powerful and some you just have to see to believe. This movie will have you begging for a third, because like the 007 series, these are not sequels they are stand alone films. I just can not say enough about how much I enjoyed this movie. I know I don't have to tell you to go see it, because I am sure you are already on your way.
