Steven Soderbergh has added another jewel to his crown of great movies. "Ocean's Eleven" is one hell of a heist film, and this film has one hell of a cast.

Soderbergh and star George Clooney brought an amazing group of people together and pulled it off. Clooney stars in the Frank Sinatra role of Danny Ocean in what is not really a ramake but more of a reinvisioning of the original by the same name.

The day Ocean gets out of jail he is on the phone to some of his old gang and has a plan to rob three casino's in one night in Las Vegas.

With that set he now has to get his crew together. Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, Scott Caan, Bernie Mac, Carl Reiner and Casey Affleck make up the group along with a couple of others. The group is bankrolled by Elliot Gould and the plan is set in motion.

The idea is to rob the vault in the Bellagio which also houses the money from the MGM Grand and the Mirage. The owner of all three just happens to be played by Andy Garcia and he is dating Ocean's ex-wife played by Julia Roberts.

This film is shot with expertice and Soderbergh is able to make sure all of the stars get screen time. He also gives the audience what it wants, slo-motion, close-ups of hot stars in cool clothes and great scenes with great lines.

The pacing of the film is deliberate and calm, much like "Out of Sight" which also starred Clooney and Cheadle, and is a must see film. Soderbergh also shoots the film from many different perspectives, sometimes you feel like you are watching it as an audience member, other times you feel like you are a certain character.

Soderbergh is as much of a star as the actors on the screen. "Ocean's Eleven" is well worth gambling on.
