Johnny Depp delivers a stand out perfomance as Captain Jack Sparrow a pirate with a heart of gold or a lust for gold or who knows he flips sides so many times you juct come to realize that he is a pirate through and through.

Sparrow must help Orlando Blooms character set out on a voyage to rescue his love.

Keira Knightley is the love interest and is stunning. She keeps up with all the actors and has screen presence.

Now, it would be easy for Jack and his crew to rescue the girl if only the pirates who have her weren't cursed. Their curse is they are skeletons in the moonlight.

This movie is a pirate ghost story and is worth the price of admission.

The director Gore Verbinski also has left in images from the theme park ride and the audience got a big kick out of the scenes.
