"The Exorcist " Just When You Thought You Finally Got it Out of Your Head.

By Ted Pfeifer

What can I write about "The Exorcist", I guess that it is one the best films of all time and easily at the top of the list of the best horror films of all time.

There has been eleven minutes of added scenes that only make the movie even more intense than it already was. The best thing about it is that it holds up as time has gone by. And the performance of Linda Blair is chilling. To think that a young girl went through everything that director William Friedkin put her through is just plain amazing.

This films gets in your head and stays there for awhile, for some people who saw it in 1974 it has stayed with them for a long while. This is not a jump out of your seat slasher flick it is a get out of my head brain attack. The thing that adds to the chills is that this stuff actually happens. To see a movie that delivered 25 years ago as strongly as it does today, go see "The Exorcist".
