Peter Jackson has put together another amazing film as the second installment of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. "The Two Towers" is every bit as good as the first and in some ways is even better.

The film picks up exactly where the "Fellowship of the Ring" left off, with the two hobbits on their way to destroy the ring and the elf, dwarf and human, hunting down orcs in search of the other two hobbits.

And from there on for the next 3 hours you are placed back into middle earth and experience a world that is as unforgettable as anything you will see while sitting in a movie theater.

The star of the film is a computer generated character named Gollum, he is a conflicted being who at once wants to help Frodo destroy the ring and on the other hand wants to take possession of it. It is my belief that if an actual actor played this part and gave the performance that this computer did, the actor would be nominated for all kinds of awards. It is astounding.

The rest of the cast is brilliant as in the first and I believe this is because they shot all three films at the same time. That way no one changed the way they acted due to the response of audiences to their characters after the first film.

There are several battle scenes that are huge and loud. They are unlike anything ever seen before and they are just setting up what will be the final battle in the 3rd part of the story.

Peter Jackson should be commended on what a feat he has accomplished and we are the lucky ones to be able to enjoy what we has been given to us.
